Ventilator Blower

A modern positive pressure ventilator consists of a compressible air reservoir or turbine blower, air and oxygen supply, a set of valves and tubes and a disposable or reusable "patient circuit". If a turbine blower is used, the turbine blower pushes air through the ventilator, with a flow valve adjusting pressure to meet patient specific parameters. The pneumatic system is nowadays often replaced by a computer-controlled turbo blower.

Wonsmart provides the healthcare industry with a number of vacuum and blower solutions that are used both as components within medical equipment and for the supply of suction from a centralized vacuum system. One such device that we have supplied for many years is our turbo blower for movement of air in medical ventilators. Recently, ventilators have been used at the forefront of treating patients during the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). Wonsmart turbo mini air blower WS7050 and WS8045 offer compact and quiet air supply for medical ventilators. They can be used in portable or half stationary devices for the treatment of chronic pulmonary disease to support the patient in breathing. WS7050 and WS8045 are also used in respirators. The advantages in both applications are the long life-time as well as the robust design. The blower can also be used in mobile applications such as ambulances due to its lightweight, compact and durable design.
